Gate operators and telephone entry require great innovation to keep pace with security demands. After all, burglars are keeping pace with technological advances.
Sentex infinity intercom systems offer this innovative technology to keep off the burglars.
Experience and experts in security matters agree in the fact that most crimes are committed at the gate. Just when the victim is in safely back home, all hell can break loose if the gate is not opened in time.
Sentex infinity intercom systems offer intelligent gates that are programmed to detect the authorized vehicles and allow them in. This can be customized to detect the vehicle well from one hundred yard distance. Forget about the need to call someone at home and inform them that you are almost near and then ask them to press the button. Crimes that take place at such gates are in a split second, pressing a button may be too long a time. Such precision and urgency in gate access control is often required in highly insecure area such as in war zones.
Sentex infinity intercom systems has developed an effective and efficient telephone control system coupled with several options to meet client needs or expand to match technological advances. The memory card and the control panel can allow multiple and scheduled tasks to avoid interruptions. Shared phone capabilities availed to a single phone line is a welcomed cost-cutting measure. Merging the telephone system with intranet through a modem enhances seamless communication.
Both gate and telephone access controls have been integrated with video LCD monitors with large displays, surface mounts and anti-glare. They are equipped with cameras with ability to record and replay. In the advent of video conferencing using both internet and intranet, the intercom systems from Sentex infinity have emerged as reliable equipments.

When we bought our home in Indiana (built in 1979) we found a
NuTone intercom with radio throughout the house. The master unit was in the basement and included an AM and FM radio. There was even a remote station on what had been turned into a three season room, but had been the back porch. The entire system had been hardwired and a few of the remote stations had a bit of static when trying to talk to anyone. To talk to anyone you had to hold down the talk button and then release it while waiting for a response. Needless to say we rarely used it for
intercom purposes, but we did use the music feature on occasion although being out in the country meant we never got the best reception on most channels. The master unit and remote stations all were in a dark brown with a vinyl wood grain insert. Most of the trim in the house had been stained dark brown so in 1979 it probably looked great. We found the original invoice for the product from the builder and the system cost over three hundred dollars installed (one master and six remote units).
When we looked into replacing the system we found that most of the master units and remote units from any manufacturer including NuTone were much smaller than the units we already had in our walls. NuTone has a few different home wireless intercom systems that we could have replaced the wired system with but we would have had to make extensive dry wall patches around all of the old station boxes. We decided to hold off and we ended up moving before we made any changes.
Knowing what I know about buying a home wireless intercom system, I would recommend the products available to anyone who wishes to have added security, anyone who has a large home and children, and anyone who lives out in the country with few or no neighbors nearby. You can purchase a full home wireless intercom system from any local contractor or online from Amazon.com and many other sites as well.
One home wireless intercom system I came across is the M&S Music System. They offer several models with increasing features for prices between four hundred ($400) and two thousand ($2000) dollars. The top of the line M&S music system allows you to have eight room speakers and three door speakers for your music enjoyment.
